Mamma Mia – Broadway Review

Filed under: Uncategorized — smackamack @ 2:13 am

playbill_mammamiaPlot: Set on a colorful Greek island, the plot serves as a background for a wealth of ABBA songs. A young woman about to be married discovers that any one of three men could be her father. She invites all three to the wedding without telling her mother.

mamma_mia_102Well I don’t really know what to say.  I am a huge fan of the film, I just think its fun, colorful, and has great music (obviously).  However, the show was pretty shit.  The singing was terrible, the choreography was bad, and the show just wasn’t very exciting.  The best part of the show was the end when the audience danced and sang along.  Although, I did have a good time with my friend Nathan who saw it with me…we made it fun.

abba0011I strongly recommend that people see the film instead.  The film is the exact same thing but much more fun, better acted, and better sung.  Also, I recommend everyone just download some Abba songs, thats what its really all about! Who doesn’t like ABBA?!

I give this show ** and I don’t know how it’s still open…
