Before the Devil Knows Your Dead – Film Review

before_the_devil_knows_youre_dead_ver3Plot: Needing extra cash, two brothers conspire to pull off the perfect, victimless crime. No guns, no violence, no problem. But when an accomplice ignores the rules and crosses the line, his actions trigger a series of events in which no one is left unscathed.

I actually found this film really boring, really poorly acted, and a waste of my time.  I don’t know why so many people enjoyed it.  Philip Seymour Hoffman, Albert Finney, Marisa Tomeii and Ethan Hawke were all badly directed by Sidney Lumet.

I give this film **.
