Today is a day to go down in the history of Courtney! I have FINALLY finished the American Film Institutes 100 Greatest Films List!  I started this my senior year of high school, and I have finally finished it in my senior year of college.  You have no idea how hard it was…not because they were horrible films, but because there are so many! Plus, I had to wait for some to come out on DVD, or come onto Netflix…plus, I have a lot of other lists to go through!

Don’t get me wrong…some of them are still awesome that I didn’t high light!!!!

Ps. The only one I have a problem with is Intolerance.  This is simply because the original list had Birth of a Nation on it, but was replaced by a different epic Griffith film (Intolerance) only because people though Birth was too racist.  Although the film is incredibly racist, this shouldn’t stop it from being such a brilliant film…in my eyes, it should have stayed on the original list. Oh well!

Pss. I have 31 films left on 100 Greatest Laughs, 24 on 100 Greatest Thrills, and 24 on 100 Greatest Passions….
