Celebrity Sighting of the Day – Jeremy Irons

Filed under: Celebrity — smackamack @ 5:56 pm

jeremy-irons-20080715-436952I was at the MTV building in Times Square signing in for a networking event for ex-interns (totally lame by the way) and none other than Jeremy Irons was standing next to me whilst signing in.  The best part was when the guard asked what his name was and he said in a very beautiful voice “I am Jeremy Irons”.

In the past this wouldn’t have been very exciting; however, I have done nothing but talk about him lately.  First I was watching the Brideshead Revisited, and then my roommate was telling me about how much her mother loved him, then I noticed he is preforming in a play in the city, and then I stood next to him! I was actually tempted to say something, but I didn’t…I think he was there for the uber secret Star Trek screening.

Some info:

iro0-009aBorn 19 September 1948. English film, televisoin and stage actor.  He has won an Academy Award, a Tony Award a Screen Actors Guild Award, 2 Emmy’s and 2 Golden Globes.

And he was hot…
